We met with Malcolm Tait from Town & Regional Planning at the University and talked about the relationship between planning and the Arts & Humanities. Looking forward to developing these connections and conversations. We also met Lucy Atkins, who wrote a dissertation on housing tenure in Kelham Island and had some brilliant ideas about planning and community.

Matt and I began to think through how we might begin to bring projects on board, linking creative practitioners, community and researchers.


The idea is to have 2 strands of project that relate to making the place and then animating the space through exhibitions, performance and other interventions.
